ABC apologizes for Monday Night intro

This is being compared to the janet jackson suprbowl debackle. Did anyone else see it?

they needed to opologize for more than just the towl. the whole think stank of lack of emagination, over acting, plagerism of a sope opera to wich I cant stand to begin with (that is any sope other than dark shadows), and a realy lame punch line,
the towl was the best part of the whole thing. they knew it was weak at best, just like janets performance at the superbowl. A theme from giligan's island would have been better than what they showed. the whole thing irritated me... couldnt wait for it to end.... sorry gals, soaps and me dont get along.... they rank right up there with reality shows and informertials. these are the only thing that will make me turn the tube off..... in responce to your post, ya I guess you could say I cought it.... cant beleive I rushed to catch that first minute of levety before the show only to catch....... I think the should apologize now for making it such a big deal.
How can it be any worse than the sex and the city one they did 4 years ago during the superbowl with Samantha sitting naked in the bath tub. They did a survey on ESPN and abou 90% of the people thought it wasn't that big deal. You know it was the overly sensitive 1% of the people that complained to the network. Some people need to get a life. And the NFL needs to calm down and stop making a big deal about stuff they don't want a big deal made about. [signature]

I agree, they need to opologize for making it a big deal, as I said I couldnt wait for it to be over and here they are dragging it on and on... LOL
I agree that the segment was a bust, and I truly beleive they had to egg it on just to save poor ratings [  ][][] I say shoot that lame horse and walk away from that train reck!!!! I aint talking about the nudity thing, they show more than what we saw daily during soap comercials, LOL I thought the entire segment was lame.... I wish them better luck next week, Hey maybe they can get the T.day Toferky to do a segment about how the foot ball feals about the whole thing....[sly] They could get the lions defence to tackle a 10 foot Toferky..... It's a football game people. I think people need to keep their morals to themselfs and not worry about protecting me from a commercial. I don't know what TV they are watching but i can change the channel on mine. Apperently these people who complain have never been to a football game.

OK I finally saw the clip and i must say that they are making a big to-do about very little. The clip is lame and pathetic and for that they should appoligize, but as far as nudity goes, if people are crying that was nudity i sure hope that they stay away from the city pools becsue they sure will see alot of that type of nude legs nude back and nude from the pecks and up.
All i could see was a lame attempt to get on the bandwagon of sex sells. [signature]

The worst part is... they didn't even choose a pretty girl to do the towel part. This was extremely lame. The Janet fiasco was much more exciting and was boring at best.
