Berry Report
#1
Hit the berry today from 9 am till 5 pm. Took one of my buddies along..only his second time ice fishing. I think he had a mild stroke on the new clear cracking ice. We had a great day, caught 13 between us and missed a few more. Nothing fast and furious, and could not determine a go-to set-up. White jigs and ratsos caught most of the fish. Almost all the fish were over 18 inches, and I caught a beauty 24 " Cut. Ice was about 3 inches where we were fishing. Water was 15 to 22 feet deep. Most the lake should hopefully be solid with a week or so of cold weather. Let's all follow the regulations and make others aware.....fish size has definately improved. Hope to see ya'll out there on the ice!

I arrived at 6:30 on the ice and when that sun come up , that ice groan big time . Out on that new ice had to be slick . It was quite slick on the old ice too . Needs some snow on it , but just a little .
