Fished Strawberry friday morning. Launched the float tube at Chicken Creek east about 9 a.m. A little late, but oh well. Anyway, caught 10 fish. All were in the slot size. The fish were all cutts. I was using tube jigs. White with black flakes tipped with worm seemed to get more strikes. Water temperature was 40 degrees. Not sure what outside temp. was. Counted about 20 kickboats and tubes out on the water. And about 7-10 boats. Ice was starting to form along the edges, but was melted as soon as it got allittle warmer. Had a good time.

Sounds like a good day robert. We got there about the same time and launched at about 0900 at Strawberry Marina. Fished the west portal, Haws Points and the Renegade area. I caught 12 fish all in the slot using white tube jigs and Lucky Craft Ghost Minnow Pointer. Left at 1300 hrs and fogged the Johnson down and put the boat away for the winter. 12 inches of fresh snow at Alta this morning and hopefully a lot more on the way tonight. Time to hit the slopes.
