We got to s.c. at 2:40pm threw in some pb and the fun began. At 6:00pm the fishing died. We ended up with 5 rainbows. 2 nice 17-18" fat bows, the other 3 planters. We also got 12 slot cutts between 3 of us. The total was 14 fish on pb and 3 on rapalas. The were hitting all colors of pb hard. We also have some tailless tub jigs now, could not get them to hit the hook. I have some pics but left the memory stick at home, i will post the pics tomorrow.

Nice report from Soldier Creek. So powerbait gets em there huh, I use power bait but never have very good results. How do you set up your powerbait and hook. I guess I am wondering, do you always use a small treble or a normal hook and how much power bait do you put on there?

Yep the small gold ones. Just enough pb to cover the hook.

Okay, ill try that, so you use the tiny #14 hooks I bet. I think my problem is that I have been putting too much powerbait and too big of hooks. Thanks
