Strawberry Report 11-22-2006
#1
Hit the Berry this morning with piscispursuit. The weather was cooperative, hardly any wind, and the water was calm. Water temperature was about 43. We've still got a few more weeks of boat fishing! Fishing was a little slower than usual. The fish seem to be more scattered. Maybe we just couldn't find them. Jigging just was not there as it usually is. We caught a total of 36 before noon. Most were landed using Pointer minnows in the shallows which almost always works well in the early mornings.

I'll bet it was still nice to get out and chase the fishies. Thanks for the water temp update as well.
