Well we hit a small lake that we was told about that was said to have bass???
Well it does but I hope no one post where this lake is or the name, if you think you know PM me and I'll let you know if you are right....
Why am I posting this this way because of the fish Hogs that like to take the bass...
This lake has just been planted this spring with bass LM the bass I was told was 7" to 9" when put in this lake all the ones we got was 10 to 10 1/2" and only 1,000 was put in said lake, when I get the pictures sent to me I will get them posted as soon as I can sorry for the waite.....

[#0000ff]PS...I know where you were fishing. As I understand it there are no special regulations in place yet. If DWR doesn't do something to protect their new pets they will disappear out of there pretty quick. That lake used to really produce some great bass...and perch...and catfish. Tough to keep GOOD fish in it when the water users dry it up every year.[/#0000ff]

I have not fished this little lake for years. It used to be pretty good for bass until it dried up. I once caught a LM close to 20" around the spillway fishing a gitzit. I had no way getting it up the "cliffs" as I was standing some 10' or so above the water. I carefully tried to lift the bass up with my 4# mono and it snapped. It can sure be fun fishing there . . . with a few good water years. On good years there are also lots of chuckars in the hills west of the Lake! We used to double up on the chuckers and bass!

Oh yes, I forgot about the chuckars I got one of my biggest LM from there back in the late 70's it went 7.5 LB what a day I hope that they can keep some water in there so the fish will make it....

nice pic's there big guy!! cute fisher-girls there as well..
i was at said lake last week giving it a try.. cought 3 off the rocks on a gulp minnow.. and 4 off the, well let's just say off the mud flats on the west side.. i to would not give out the name or even put up a report on this lake for all the same reason's bassrods and TD give.. give it a chance to grow 2 years. then them bass will be 3 or 4 lbs and fun.. right now they are 1/2 to 3/4 lbs and not realy worth the time.

I have meet people who think the DWR plants bass like they do trout, and think that bass grow as fast as trout and just don't believe other wise, so they take every thing they catch.....
Trout like at the Berry need to be let go to reach a size so they can take care of the chubs, bass the bigger ones need to be released so they can spawn and keep bass in the lakes to help with the ruff fish like the chubs and suckers and for the fight a bigger fish can give, weather its trout or bass or other types of fish there is nathan like the fight of a big fish......

Hey, did you notice the big stab/cut wound on that bass in the second pic? I have been noticing this kind of  istic fish mutilization alot everywhere. Especially with bluegills, bass, trout, and even white bass. I didn't have a chance to collect pics yet. But yours is a good example. This a really mean thing to do, cutting and releasing fish like that. Since you are out on the water alot, please help find out who's doing this fish torture and have them turned in. Please keep your eyes open. Some fish have obvious opens sores as in your pic. Some have hunks dug out of their backs. Some merely have straight cuts or slashes on their sides that penetrates the skin. Thanks for helping to protect fish.

your culprit is probably about 15" around and has four blades. It looks like a prop job to me,

Fin I know who is doing this .....
Look around at the birds not ducks but cormerans (spel check) they get a hold of fish and some get a way they eat from 1/3 to 1/2 of there body weight each day....
