im goin to the SD in a couple of weeks and i wanna know if there are still any salmon up there

The Salmon should be past that point by now. You should be able to still get Stripers and Sturgeon right now.

There are also some nice Catfish in there too.[cool]

any trout?

The Trout up there are far and few between. They are either up stream in the American River or out in the ocean becoming Steelhead.

If you go in the fall, you can catch the Steelhead run. They are fun on a flyrod too.

You can also catch Shad up there. They get to be pretty good sized and can fight good on your flyrod.[cool]

Believe it or not, the Wooley Buggers are a killer up there. I used to fish that area quite a bit when I lived up there.

Wooley Buggers, Matukas and sparkling streamers are all good.[cool]

Those are cool flippers. I have a set of those too. I trade off with the other ones.[cool]

yep i cant wait to use them[cool]. i might go to lake pudding today and float tube ill probably fish for cats when i get there and then go for bass in the evening
