[size 1]Today I set out to try and catch the almighty wiper I have been hearing so much about, I did alot of reading and asking questions, I made a trip to hooked and bought a few lures, bought some new line, spent all day saturday getting the boat and fishing gear all ready to go, I trolled the west side, made about five passes, then went over to the east side and made a few passes, I think I got one bite the entire time. maybe it's alittle early in the year? water temp was anywhere from 55 to 59 degrees

I guess I can't complain to much, spent 6 hours out on the lake, got sunburned, and got to buy some new gear.

well, I do have one complaint, I did not see another boat that had a BFT stickers on it the entire day? what's up with that? I was in a 18 ft white and blue Glastron with the stickers on the side windows.

I tried a couple different producer prisms, a couple different rapalas, and some shad things that are made by storm that the guys at Hooked gave to me.

Look for me next satruday. it looks like me and FFM will be out there in my boat. its a white trihull center console with a light green stripe. with a good looking bald guy in it. (me) and hopefull a couple fish in the wells DZ
