Walking and Beer
#1
WALKING AND BEER:

A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles per year.

Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an American.

I saw this thread in the hot topics list. For some reason I had a feeling that when the word "Beer" comes up, that my name would be used in vain.[laugh][laugh]

I think that Poky and I get more gallons per mile instead of miles per gallon.[Image: beerbang.gif]

I probably walk 2000 miles per year I pobably average 365 gallons a year so that would mean I average 5.4 miles to a gallon or .18 gallons per mile and if I'm wrong with my math I must be drinking now. HIC-UP[crazy][crazy][crazy][crazy][crazy][crazy][crazy]

I just moved the couch over 1 foot. That could make a difference on the walking distance from the fridge.

One extra foot to walk over and one extra foot to walk back. That figures out to about a mile of extra walking a day.[cool]

That is why I had to stalk the fridge with 24oz cans. It helps quench the thirst just a little longer.[cool]
