We all use all the following techniques when fishing dry flies.

Straight Up
Up and Across.
Straight Across.
Down and Across
Straight down.

Which works best for you?

For me Fishing Straight across yields the most strikes. I presume that is because I am actually more accurate in getting a good drift on the fly....... Even though I think I get good drifts in the other directions, also.
