Another alarming e-mail about Obama!
#1

----- Original Message -----

Subject: Fwd: FORWARD TO ALL YOU CAN

Whether you are Republican or Democrat , please take seriously these quotes of Obama from his books. I have read them and I know that they are true. If he is elected, we will be strangers in our own country. He will pay back all the white people for the black's problems. I don't care what color he is; it's his character that worries me. Muslims will flood the White House, and every person, who believes in God and Christianity, who has voted to elect him, will regret that decision until the they die.

Please don't help the Muslims take over our country, by voting for him.or not voting against him. If you haven't planned to vote, please change your mind and register to vote. Do your duty, and do a good thing for yourself, your country, and your children.

Goldie

FORWARD TO ALL YOU CAN

Amazing, a democrat set this to me.

FORWARD TO ALL YOU CAN

Why is all of this going unnoticed by the media???? They send 1000 reporters to Alaska to dig up something on Sarah palin and they have this right in front of their eyes!

From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'

From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

And FINALLY the MOST DAMNING ONE of ALL of them!!!

From Audacity of Hope: 'I WILL STAND WITH THE MUSLIMS SHOULD THE POLITICAL WINDS SHIFT IN AN UGLY DIRECTION.'

* If you have never forwarded an e-mail, now is the time to Do so!!! We CANNOT have someone with this type of mentality running our GREAT nation!! I don't care whether you a Democrat or a Conservative. We CANNOT turn ourselves over to this type of character in a President. PLEASE help spread the word

What?

I hope every one is listening, before it is to late.READ ALL......COULD CHANGE YOUR MIND

Perhaps there are SOME out there who are beginning to get 'the Picture. The following is a narrative taken from Sunday Morning's Televised 'Meet The Press'. And the author is employed by none other
Than the Washington Post!! (Dale Lindsborg, Washington Post)
Yeah...the Washington Post of New York And Los Angeles Times fame!! Must say that I'm duly impressed... From Sunday's Televised 'Meet the Press' Senator Obama was asked About his stance on the American Flag. Obama Explains National
Anthem Stance Sun, 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) Asked Obama to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played. The General also stated to the Senator that according to the UnitedStates Code,Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...
. . . During rendition of the national Anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in Uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the Right hand over the heart. At the very least, 'Stand and Face It' Senator Obama Live on Sunday states, 'As I've said about the flag Pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides, Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is A symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like Message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be Swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the Song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing.' If that were our anthem, Then I might salute it. 'We should consider to reinvent our National Anthem as well as to redesign our Flag to better offer our enemies Hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to The level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we as a Nation of warring people, should conduct ourselves as the nations of Islam, whereas peace prevails. Perhaps a state or period of mutual Concord between our governments. When I become President, I will Seek a pact or agreement to end hostilities between those who have Been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting Oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation have placed upon the nations of Islam an unfair injustice. My wife disrespects the Flag for many Personal reasons. Together she and I have attended several flag Burning ceremonies in the past, many years ago. She has her views And I have mine'. Of course now, I have found myself about to become The President of the United States and I have put aside my hatred. I Will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the People a new path of hope. My wife and I look forward to becoming Our Country's First Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America .
WHAT the Hell ! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it right. This could possibly Be our next President. I, for one, am speechless. Dale Lindsborg , Washington PostEnd of Forwarded Message

He has been to several flag burnings with his wife?? What kind of president will he be?? I hope atleast reading this info has swayed some of you to think about it before you hit the poles.[:/]

Brody, I don't support Obama and I did not vote for him but this subject has been brought up before and I deleted my commets after I found out I was wrong. His book does not say what this Email claims for the most part, here is a link to Snopes if you want to read about it.

You want some truth huh? Here's a letter from the Executive director of the Illinois State Rifle Association. He has worked directly with obama. Since you've got it all figured out, I'd like to know the truth about barack's relationships with Ayers and Wright. Care to enlighten us?

Sorry if it was ALL not true, but i highly doubt it. I posted another thread with the same letter Bearclaw has linked above and it is 100% THE TRUTH! Read that and then we'll see what he is really like. He will get his 42 months of reign(says so in the bible) and then what will happen??
Stay tuned[Wink][Wink]

I think all politicians say what ever they need to say to become elected, what you have to look at is their track record. The letter above was from when he was a senator and how he voted during that time. I'm not saying he can't change but it is sure funny that a guy that makes all this uproar about change has changed the most himself by making people believe that he is something that his record shows he is not. I guess time will tell who he really is.

Just keep on buying the lip service then, really doesn't make a difference to me. I find it rather interesting that we have the executive director of a pro-gun lobbyist group giving us his feedback about his experiences working DIRECTLY with Obama within the state of Illinois and you still ignore the facts. Wow! As I've said in the past, I'm not worried about the Govt showing up at my door one day and demand my guns. I'm watching out for the "little by little, bit by bit" anti-gun legislation that is hidden under the pretense of ending or reducing gun violence. And you are absolutely 100% right in that you'll never convince me otherwise. By the way, care to source that interview? I bet it was after he had decided to run for pres.

P.S. You claimed that the info LH2 posted was not true "AT ALL".. Sure sounds like you think you've got it figured out to me.

First off, I said the first post was false.

Then you print off that letter from who knows where and bring up guns. I wasn't talking about GUNS!!!!!!!

I was stating that the book statements were totally false and that he is not a Muslim etc.....

Whatever you say. I didn't print off anything. I attached a letter which is directly related to the fact that Obama has changed his stance on several issues in an effort to get elected. Whether it's his relationship with Ayers, Wright or his ever changing policy on gun control. By the way, the letter wasn't from "who knows where" (like your interview)... Read the letter, it clearly states who wrote it.

Here is more on the open letter to sportsman, while I doubt Obama is the anti-christ, the letter is very accurate and it does concern me. I think it has a lot to do with were he was in office. Chicago, D.C., and other states that have bad inner city crime all lobby for gun control. It is their "quick fix" for a larger more complicated problem. I have had family and friends in California/Arizona that probably would not be here if they did not have a gun close to thier persons. One of my best friends was killed by a star tail-back at ASU, I was lucky not to be with them the night he was killed. This made national headlines on both ESPN and CNN since Brandon was also a former ASU player. While I wish Loren Wade did not have access to that gun that night, I wish Brandon did. This was all over Brandon saying Hi to Loren's girlfriend....very senseless!!!

Barack Obama on Gun Control
Democratic nomine for President; Junior Senator (IL)

Ok for states & cities to determine local gun laws
Q: Is the D.C. law prohibiting ownership of handguns consistent with an individual's right to bear arms?

A: As a general principle, I believe that the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can't constrain the exercise of that right, in the same way that we have a right to private property but local governments can establish zoning ordinances that determine how you can use it.

Q: But do you still favor the registration & licensing of guns?

A: I think we can provide common-sense approaches to the issue of illegal guns that are ending up on the streets. We can make sure that criminals don't have guns in their hands. We can make certain that those who are mentally deranged are not getting a hold of handguns. We can trace guns that have been used in crimes to unscrupulous gun dealers that may be selling to straw purchasers and dumping them on the streets.

FactCheck: Yes, Obama endorsed Illinois handgun ban
Obama was being misleading when he denied that his handwriting had been on a document endorsing a state ban on the sale and possession of handguns in Illinois. Obama responded, "No, my writing wasn't on that particular questionnaire. As I said, I have never favored an all-out ban on handguns."

Actually, Obama's writing was on the 1996 document, which was filed when Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. A Chicago nonprofit, Independent Voters of Illinois, had this question, and Obama took hard line:

35. Do you support state legislation to:
a. ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns? Yes.
b. ban assault weapons? Yes.
c. mandatory waiting periods and background checks? Yes.

Obama's campaign said, "Sen. Obama didn't fill out these state Senate questionnaires--a staffer did--and there are several answers that didn't reflect his views then or now. He may have jotted some notes on the front page of the questionnaire, but some answers didn't reflect his views."

Respect 2nd Amendment, but local gun bans ok
Q: You said recently, "I have no intention of taking away folks' guns." But you support the D.C. handgun ban, and you've said that it's constitutional. How do you reconcile those two positions?

A: Because I think we have two conflicting traditions in this country. I think it's important for us to recognize that we've got a tradition of handgun ownership and gun ownership generally. And a lot of law-abiding citizens use it for hunting, for sportsmanship, and for protecting their families. We also have a violence on the streets that is the result of illegal handgun usage. And so I think there is nothing wrong with a community saying we are going to take those illegal handguns off the streets. And cracking down on the various loopholes that exist in terms of background checks for children, the mentally ill. We can have reasonable, thoughtful gun control measure that I think respect the Second Amendment and people's traditions.

Provide some common-sense enforcement on gun licensing
Q: When you were in the state senate, you talked about licensing and registering gun owners. Would you do that as president?

A: I don't think that we can get that done. But what we can do is to provide just some common-sense enforcement. The efforts by law enforcement to obtain the information required to trace back guns that have been used in crimes to unscrupulous gun dealers. As president, I intend to make it happen. We essentially have two realities, when it comes to guns, in this country. You've got the tradition of lawful gun ownership. It is very important for many Americans to be able to hunt, fish, take their kids out, teach them how to shoot. Then you've got the reality of 34 Chicago public school students who get shot down on the streets of Chicago. We can reconcile those two realities by making sure the Second Amendment is respected and that people are able to lawfully own guns, but that we also start cracking down on the kinds of abuses of firearms that we see on the streets.

2000: cosponsored bill to limit purchases to 1 gun per month
Obama sought moderate gun control measures, such as a 2000 bill he cosponsored to limit handgun purchases to one per month (it did not pass). He voted against letting people violate local weapons bans in cases of self-defense, but also voted in2004 to let retired police officers carry concealed handguns.
Source: The Improbable Quest, by John K. Wilson, p.148 Oct 30, 2007

Concealed carry OK for retired police officers
Obama voted for a bill in the Illinois senate that allowed retired law enforcement officers to carry concealed weapons. If there was any issue on which Obama rarely deviated, it was gun control. He was the most strident candidate when it came to enforcin and expanding gun control laws. So this vote jumped out as inconsistent.

When I queried him about the vote, he said, "I didn't find that [vote] surprising. I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry. This was a narrow exception in an exceptional circumstance where a retired police officer might find himself vulnerable as a consequence of the work he has previously done--and had been trained extensively in the proper use of firearms."

It wasn't until a few weeks later that another theory came forward about the uncharacteristic vote. Obama was battling with his GOP opponent to win the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Stop unscrupulous gun dealers dumping guns in cities
Q: How would you address gun violence that continues to be the #1 cause of death among African-American men?

A: You know, when the massacre happened at Virginia Tech, I think all of us were grief stricken and shocked by the carnage. But in this year alone, in Chicago, we've had 34 Chicago public school students gunned down and killed. And for the most part, there has been silence. We know what to do. We've got to enforce the gun laws that are on the books. We've got to make sure that unscrupulous gun dealers aren't loading up vans and dumping guns in our communities, because we know they're not made in our communities. There aren't any gun manufacturers here, right here in the middle of Detroit. But what we also have to do is to make sure that we change our politics so that we care just as much about those 30-some children in Chicago who've been shot as we do the children in Virginia Tech. That's a mindset that we have to have in the White House and we don't have it right now.

Keep guns out of inner cities--but also problem of morality
I believe in keeping guns out of our inner cities, and that our leaders must say so in the face of the gun manfuacturer's lobby. But I also believe that when a gangbanger shoots indiscriminately into a crowd because he feels someone disrespected him, we have a problem of morality. Not only do ew need to punish thatman for his crime, but we need to acknowledge that there's a hole in his heart, one that government programs alone may not be able to repair.
Source: The Audacity of Hope, by Barack Obama, p.215 Oct 1, 2006

Bush erred in failing to renew assault weapons ban
KEYES: [to Obama]: I am a strong believer in the second amendment. The gun control mentality is ruthlessly absurd. It suggests that we should pass a law that prevents law abiding citizens from carrying weapons. You end up with a situation where the crook have all the guns and the law abiding citizens cannot defend themselves. I guess that's good enough for Senator Obama who voted against the bill that would have allowed homeowners to defend themselves if their homes were broken into.

OBAMA: Let's be honest. Mr. Keyes does not believe in common gun control measures like the assault weapons bill. Mr. Keyes does not believe in any limits from what I can tell with respect to the possession of guns, including assault weapons that have only one purpose, to kill people. I think it is a scandal that this president did not authorize a renewal of the assault weapons ban.

Ban semi-automatics, and more possession restrictions

* Principles that Obama supports on gun issues:Ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons.
* Increase state restrictions on the purchase and possession of firearms.
* Require manufacturers to provide child-safety locks with firearms.

Source: 1998 IL State Legislative National Political Awareness Test Jul 2, 1998

Voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers.
A bill to prohibit civil liability actions from being brought or continued against manufacturers, distributors, dealers, or importers of firearms or ammunition for damages, injunctive or other relief resulting from the misuse of their products by others. Voting YES would:

* Exempt lawsuits brought against individuals who knowingly transfer a firearm that will be used to commit a violent or drug-trafficking crime
* Exempt lawsuits against actions that result in death, physical injury or property damage due solely to a product defect
* Call for the dismissal of all qualified civil liability actions pending on the date of enactment by the court in which the action was brought
* Prohibit the manufacture, import, sale or delivery of armor piercing ammunition, and sets a minimum prison term of 15 years for violations
* Require all licensed importers, manufacturers and dealers who engage in the transfer of handguns to provide secure gun storage or safety devices

Amen to that Chad!!!

As of this moment there are SIX "Gun Control" bills sitting on the House and Senate floors too wainting for the nest Congress to pass and then be "Rubber" Stamped come Jan 20 '09.

HR 6257 - Assault Weapons Ban Reauthoriaztion Act ( You wouldn't believe the guns that are on this list; my .17 HMR would be illeagal if this passed)

S 77 - Anti-Gun Trafficking Enhancement Act (Say good by to selling guns between private individuals, as well as private individuals being able to have FFL licenses.)

HR 2666 - Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act (Big Brother is always watching and now every gun you own will have a paper trail with big brother.)

HR 1784 - PLEA Act ( This one is supposed to eliminate armor peircing bullets from the streets, but all it would do is eliminate law abiding citizens from using Full Metal Jacket bullets.)

HR 256 - Child Gun Safety and Gun Access Prevention Act ( This one will require an FFL to verify that you have a locking gun safe at you residence before you can be sold a firearm. Also if you have children, all firearms must be unloaded and ammunition must be kept in seperate areas of your residence.)

And for those of you who have Concealed Carry Permits like myself; Listen to Obama in his own words what he thinks about Conceald Carry Permits.

Obama is a chicken s#it. Let's get rid of all the ccw permits so some guy can watch his wife get raped and some child get kidnapped or some bank teller get held at gunpoint. Let's give him a permit and a gun and have him get carjacked at gunpoint and see what he thinks after he saves both his and his wifes lives.[Wink]

But Brody, Obama is all for the inherent rights of the 2nd Amendment, he even said so on his website.[Wink]

I sure wish people would have not listened to the rhetoric and actually did some reasearch on his actual record and beliefs that he holds.

But hey, at least the criminals are all for limiting our 2nd Amendment rights.
