I've caught Crappie (or Speckled Perch as we call them in northeast NC) in the past but never specifically targeted them. Recently I've been more interested in targeting them. What I've found so far is that they love minnows on a number 4 gold hook under a cork. But what I don't know is under what conditions are best to go out and fish for Crappie. Do you have any recommendations or tips? Thanks in advance!
