OK poncho!!! I have never caught a walleye and I have to sit here at my desk all day looking at your pics. You make it look way too easy. Where does fair come into play!!! j/k nice work!!! I have two fish I want to add to my list of "fish caught" walleye is one and the ever large tigermusk. is the other. I am definitely taking notes on your Willard/Deer creek adventures to hopefully ease my frequency of catching the 'eyes' thanks for your great posts. keep it up!!!

Hey Rob,
I know that you love to frequent the Uintah Basin. About the most productive (quantity not necessarily size wise) walleye waters is Starvation Reservoir. Hook up with some of the BFT guys out there on Starvation and I'm confident that you can add a walleye to your list of fish caught. Poncho obviously knows what he is doing when it comes to fishing for walleyes (and it appears many other species) but Deer Creek is one of the most difficult walleye waters in Utah.

Nice fish Poncho, how do you keep catching all the fish you catch. People would pay you to guide them to all the places you catch fish at. One question, who takes all those great pictures of you are your fish? WH2

I have a small tripod for my camera. I set it up when I start fishing incase I catch a fish I want a picture of before I release it, that way I don't keep him out of the water any longer than I have to. Since I don't know the lakes around here I listen to what people say and put on there posts about what lake and what fish are going, this site is very helpful. Some people just say what they caught and what lake, but most are pretty helpful.

If I see you out there I'll swing in and say hi. I'm not sure where the river enters the lake must be up past the flats. I've only had my boat up there 3 times now.

the river enters at the very northern most part of the lake, it is good for carp, right out of the channle, they must just sit and wait for food to come out of the river.
