Deer Creek N of Island

Started fishing 35 yds N of the Island about 11:00 am and hit a 16 inch rainbow first thing, then nothing. Moved to 100 yds N and out to about 35 feet of water and started catching almost every 15 min like clockwork. Ended about 4:00 pm with 8 Rainbows and 1 Brown. Mostly 10-12 inchers biting on anything I tipped with a mealworm. Ice is thick and very little slush today N of the Island.

Sounds like just enough fun to keep you entertained. Still a good time though. Nice brown and I have to say timp is a pretty site during the winter.
