What happened to the exchange of fishing ideas that were on the old board here at Big Fish message boards? It seems like the only thing here now is spam type fish reports from the owners or captains themselves. Am I the only one that has noticed this????????? I MISS the exchange of tackle, techniques & when & how that used to be here????? Myself, I am not stupid, I can look at the different location reports on the boards they are SUSPOSED to be on, if I’m interested. Now, it is hard to find a actual question about fish / fishing / gear. Am I mistaken in seeing that there are “Fish Report” boards for different locals here????????? I hope no one takes offence to this but I do hope that the “Good” operations will save space for questions. I kinda think people are not posting questions like they used to because it looks like an advertisement board or their post gets pushed down from the weekly spamers that don’t have the cortices(sp) to others & seem to think they can post as many reports as they want. Maybe they can just post weeklies as replies to their last weekly? Seems no one else posts replies to those reports. At least think about this? Is there anyone else that feels the same as me about this? Please reply to this as so if you do, maybe some will see & save room on this board for the regular guys that are interested in just talking about fishing. I wonder if those guys even read other post or answer questions asked. Thanks for reading my complaint…think about it..!!!!!!!!! 1 Fish`n folk HAVE FUN ON / AT THE WATER!!! & EXCHANGE THOUGHTS

Capt_Dan_Kauai, Almost a year has past from the time you made this post. Looking at the board today every one has listened to your advice and coments. The board is one of the best on the net. In time all the other boards will be trying to catch up. The registered members list is growing daily. The count has doubled in less than 3 months and seems to be picking up speed on its way to the top. It is full of great info, questions and answers. There is alot of great reports from all over the world. I love it. There is alot of great anglers on this board on a daily basis. So when someone has a question they get a correct answer most of the time in less than 24 hours. I have seen answers given in under 5min on some cases. This is the GREAT AND GROWING BFT board. Ya know I do see a little of what you are saying I and on the boards here every day and I check out all the boards. I can say that if it were not for some of the commercial charter reports that there would not be any reports at all for some of the boards. Personally I like to wee what is going on around the world. Generally I like to see all my catch reports on a single thread on a board so I can see who all has been reporting just by scrolling down the thread. On the other hand I purposely dig back in to the pages to see old reports that haven’t been deleted as some do when they become old. To compare them to newer reports to see what is happening to the quality of fishing. You may want to consider this when making your reports of catches as it shows dates and the catches are comparable with out having dig through different windows to see them. I might add that every one take time to view some of the archived pages to see some really good articles and hot fishing tips hidden on the back burners.
