I dont know if i like the sound of "One day" on the walleyes being re-introduced into yuba i loved fishing for them there, thats where i caught my first walleye in fact.

They didn't mean that they would stock them "one day" they ment that the walleye they stock along with the perch you will be able to catch "one day".

Ok i guess i just misunderstood the article i thought that sence they had all the numbers of trout and perch and not the 'eyes that it meant that they wernt going to now but eventually they would introduce them back in.

I read the article and i got the understanding that that the dwr one day will restock the walleyes. Maybe they want the perch and trout to establish themselves before they stock walleyes. When i first moved to utah 7 years ago yuba was the first lake i ever fished in my life. I was catching 4-5LB rainbows from shore! Over the years i have seen them stock trout in there but i have not seen people catch them . Dont know if they survive .
