Who got the best fishing gift from Sanney Caluse? Me? Quite modest. A handful of new lures from Cabela's that I snuck into the house behind the new vacuum cleaner I bought for my wife.
But remember. The lord works in mysterious ways. The brand new in the box Zodiac inflatable I bought during a delirious moment last year has not been selling on KSL.
So now I'll make a play to keep it. I'll tell my wife that when towing the boat up the canyon on a windy day. Say 5 to 10 mph gusts, your trailer and jackknife and that's all she wrote.
Yet the new raft needs a 6h.p. outboard to go with it. Wonder how big a vacuum cleaner I'll need to buy to sneak that baby in the garage?
I'm sure you all did better with yours though. For she that loveth a man loveth his conviction to bring home dinner at about $229 a pound. But fresh, no?

Wow. Sneaking lures and possibly a 6 H.P. motor behind your wife back, lies about a jack knifed trailer, over priced dinners and a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. I’d say your wife is one lucky lady!!! [crazy]

Haha, ^ ^ ^ is just jealous of your ninja skillz.
I feel like I won the fishing sweepstakes this year. I ended up getting three new ice rods and reels (one for me, one for my wife, and one for my five year old -- which means I got three new rods/reels), and my very own 1-man pack shack. I had no idea I was getting anything from my wife (we do the "We won't get anything for each other this year and let the kids have a good one" crap, but she always does this), but man was I stoked to shred that gnar. I also got some jigs, power bait, and a bunch of gift cards to Scheel's, WallyWorld, and Cabela's.
I could die happy.

Ice fishing fish finder and a reel with a depth counter to quickly fish the same depth fish are liking many other holes without moving the fish finder each time. More lures and lure bags and boxes, etc.

A new Humminbird 571 HD DI finder. It is exactly what I wanted.... Black and white and no GPS. Just a good quality finder that allows me to turn on/off the DI at will. Love it!

So - you're saying that vacuum just sucked? Sounds like a badly translated Japanese advert!
But what was wrong with the ham?! Didn't make Turkey Jerky like I did for a bud. Gonna fix that one!
One word - Dysan, ok - two Dysan Ball, ok - more words - Dysan Pets Ball - most worthy tool I've aquired to the house in a loooong time.
And I thought I was a devious sort - some of ya'll, publicizing and all.... there's no divorce lawyers on the site are there?
I nabbed an Electric Auger to step up our ice ventures. Bought it w/o taping credit, then got gift monies enough to cover, so I'm golden!
NOW if I can just find some stacks of fat golder perch!
Cheers and new years folkz
