Been Fishing Pineview trying to catch me a musky the past few weekends to no avail. I'll just have to keep at it I guess. My wife did manage to catch a nice bass and I figured I would share.

It was a fun fish. It came up out of the water a couple of times.

Beautiful fish. I don't want to start a bash fest, but please have your friend review this link on how to handle tiger muskies:

Yeah I mentioned that to him, I know the second picture is not "proper handling." I figured I would get crap for posting it on here but I figured it was too nice of a fish not to share.

Yeah I wasn't even in the same boat as him when he caught it. I've actually really been working on proper handling and keeping the fish in the water and getting them released quickly and everything. But yeah, the fish was 45" and about 25lbs. I thought that was you I see out there all the time but wasn't sure. What kind of boat do you have?

Awesome! And that's a nice one too! Congrats! It's been a good weekend for them. My buddy went out again this morning and caught 3 more on topwater but they were smaller.

[quote Jordanporritt]Keep at it! My friend and I have been going out almost every weekend and have caught quite a few small ones but he finally hooked into a monster!

Hey Jordan, Whats the water temp up there? Can you still see them in the shallows? I got bit off on my first cast about 2 weeks ago on a new fly i tied. I was still streching my flyline when a big one hit the fly that was just sitting there. Spooky.
