Did you notice if the south shore cliffs are accessible?

We fished out from the County dock today. Fishing was excellent from 6:30 to 10, then majorly died. Brought home a 3 1/2 pound brookie that was awesome, that is what I was looking for. Was a little disappointing that it died so hard, didn't even mark any on the flasher after 10 or so. Largest caught today was a 4 pound hybrid. All in all, iced around 15, lost 6 or 8 at the hole.

I drove by the cliffs access road on Saturday, it looked like a mess.

Stopped and looked at the Hatchery today, lots more open water.

I think if you have 4 wheel drive with good tires you can get anywhere on the lake .

I think I'm going to hit Staleys on Thursday if you wouldn't mind letting me know how you do. PM would be fine. I'm taking my autistic cousin up so I'm just crossing my fingers that he has a good day.

Headed up tomorrow as well. We'll be in a red eskimo shack or close around it. My sled has a BFF sticker on one side. Say hi if you see us

Made it up to Henry's. Met a fellow BFTe, fooksnick (sp?). He did well then left around 1030. We stuck around until 1230. Fishing was pretty slow early. Only got a couple hits and 1 landed until about 1045 then it picked up. Landed about20 fish over the next hour and a half. Bite was very light. Jigger totters helped immensely, but the star was the jaw jackers! Only missed one trigger on those! They hit small jig/ ice flies below a 1/8 oz kastmaster, single ratfinkie, or jigged white paddle bugs all with half a mealworm. Largest fish I caught was about 20-22" size. Got two brookies later. Weather was awesome. Oh we fished stalies. Hoping to go up one more time on Monday with the kid. Will post pics once they're adjusted on size

Great report. The timing of the bite up there is sure a tricky one, sometimes it's all early, sometimes its late.

Looking to go up tomorrow, but am on the fence as I'll be solo.
