Spent Saturday at Montpelier and today at Chesterfield. Perch galore with almost a limit of little koks in the mix also. Turned loosed a limit of trout also at Montpelier. Another beautiful day at Chesterfield today. Iced 40 fish between my son and law and I. Our women were wore out from the perch show and weren't into fishing to much today. Our biggest today was four lbs. Here are a couple of picture. Also made a video of something we made up for ice fishing. Yes we have been out in the sun and cold to long but we had fun and were comfortable at the same time! http://youtu.be/PsGdEWAfQiQ

Gr8 job.
The video is the best. I can see a pair of water skis on the chair this summer. Trolling!

Other positive is that at the time there is not water around edges of either lake.

Simple is best. Many guys just use mallows, crawler and power bait, rainbow. I use jigs with tiny bit of crawler and tiny bit of rainbow power bait. Be sure to screw down your rod holders or put something on your rods, those big ones will jerk your rods right down the hole. I sacrificed a rod or two before I learned my lesson.
Happy fishing.
