Its done stick a fork in it [Sad] and break out the boat

Had to make a run to a back up spot and if things dont change it will be done by the end of week as ice was getting thin

I know that looks can be deceiving...amazing that's 4 inches. And that clear ice is stronger than it looks, but it is kind of spooky looking. I just haven't been out enough to get a good handle on what is safe.

It was good hard ice first thing but had water on top by the afternoon, 4 is still kinda spooky and i never really relax but it was still fun fishing and when its like that i kinda drill holes so you follow the same path so you dont ever find anything unexpected if it would have been the white crusty stuff out day of fishing would have been done before we even got on the ice.
