fishing while rafting "gates of lodore"

My Colorado Neighbors,

I'm going to be floating the gates of lodore through dinasour ntl monument with my lady and about 7 other big rafts. I want to fish throughout the float, when we're not hitting rapids, and would love some tips on what gear i should obtain/take with me while i'm out there. I don't have a fly rod, only a spinner rod.

Any suggestions for gear would be most helpful! I've floating this section once and the first night had a huge rain storm. Turned hte river red and fishing was basically not existent except for the stream near Jones Hole, which was killer for all the fly fishermen/women.

Thanks in advance. We're driving out on Sun and putting in on Monday. I'll need to get the gear Saturday, so any suggestions today/tomorrow morning would be greatly appreciated.
