Strawberry/Marina 2/7

I went with a friend and fished about 3/4 mile out from the Marina. Between the two of us we caught 8-10 fish, it was pretty slow. We didn't mark a ton of fish, and the ones we did only a few actually bit. We tried a couple of places from 30 to 50 FOW, and drilled holes in as little as 12 while looking. It was pretty clear there just weren't many fishing moving around the area.

Most bites came on 2.25" tubes, glow and pearl, tipped with shrimp. We tried a variety of lures and baits. The bite was painfully light, with several embarrassing missed hook sets.

At least you got out and caught a few fish, did you try tipping your jigs with wax or meal worms, or just shrimp? Hopefully your next trip will be better.
