I ended up going to the confluence instead of Lost Dog, but NF-11 to the confluence was in perfect condition with no snow at all, and NF-11 is pretty much the same as NF-12 to Lost Dog. There's very little snow up there. Ice was clear and 5" and extended to just south of the end of NF-11. Completely open water south of that.
