You got me sold on the idea of keeping some fligs in the tackle box a while back. Last week, I started jamming an ear plug soaked in smelly jelly onto them, then stuffing them inside a tube jig. Tied in a carolina rig, they've been one of the most successful things I've used all year. Caught a really nice 20" trout at Jordanelle with one a couple days ago.
