Edge was solid where I accessed the ice. The slush was bad out on the lake. A crust on top that I broke through easily with about 3 inches of water under the crust. Make sure you have good boots. A good 8 - 9 inches of clear ice under that. Although it was cold today and with the clear skies tonight and cold temps it could freeze up a bit.
