Thanks Ben, I'll have to try that again... Didn't have much luck last time I tried it, but it wasn't this time of year, so maybe it will be just the ticket now... Got one on crawlers last night, so I've got a couple days of bait again... Funny how fast I can go through a carp these days... Starting to get fairly good at filleting those carp, but when you're not too worried about wasting meat it gets much easier to do... My cats love it when I leave them something besides bones and scales to eat.. I probably ought to get a set line permit and see if I can stock up on carp while they are in the shallows spawning... I broke my bow string and so I don't get out sticking them like I used to... but I do need to get bait this time of year, because they get a lot harder to catch later in the year...
