I concur with your report. My buddy and I were there Friday but I got a late start. Fished the Soldier Creek side and the ice is going fast. Talked to the DWR guy for a minute as he was checking licenses and said everyone mentioned black wooly buggers or garlic powerbait. I was in a tube and caught all mine on black buggers.
