Hey John, looking forward to seeing you the 13th.
Wife and I have made a couple trips up to Smith Pond the past 2 weekends. Last Sunday I caught 3 planter rainbows, she caught one, was a bit windy and cool. Yesterday we were there again and between the 2 of us we landed about 36 or 37 rainbows. Several were in the 16 to 18 inch range, healthy and full of fight.
You should get your grandsons in on the Catfish Contest next year, give the south some competition in the Youth class. [
