Thanks for not outing me that I could only catch one fish to your dozen. I just don't know what I was doing wrong. I tried the same things that had twice worked to catch over 20, and followed your lead on the white tungsten jig that you were killing them with--that's when I caught the one rainbow. I tried drilling a dozen or more holes and moving around to see if I just wasn't in a good spot. Frustrating. I did get several bites on a waxworm-sized bit of PowerBait nugget pressed on to the jigs, but I couldn't hook them up except for that one. I believe you caught many of yours on waxworm-tipped jigs.
Colors of the day were white and yellow/chartreuse. The PowerBait was rainbow which was mainly yellow.
I was as cold as can remember in recent years. Please take plenty of layers, both top and bottom. The weather had been so nice the last two times there that I was lulled into thinking I had plenty to keep me warm.
