Good to hear! I was planning on heading up there next weekend to try my luck. 

Never done very good fly fishing from shore at Deer Creek, but we'll give her hell!

Last year someone posted on here catching browns from shore at the dam access. He was catching some toad browns on balanced leech's Had videos he shared of the fun. It was cool stuff.

I've seen that video! There are some nice fish in that lake. I was going to head to that region this weekend but a sick kiddo derailed those plans. Maybe next weekend

That always sucks, Hope there feeling better. We have always wanted to catch Ice off up there looks like allot of fun. I didn't even think about it until this post. Good luck if you get out.
