Actually, I once caught a 5# Northern Pike on a night crawler! I was fishing a stump field on Lake O'Jaski (formerly Mud Lake). I had a leader on so I would not lose so much tackle-lucky me! The fish took the worm about 2 feet from the side of the boat!
