[size 1]Assuming your fishing for bass, if your new to the lake you can't really go wrong with Live bait. Crawdads hook them through the tough horn up by the head, fish the bottom letting the crawdad cruise around a bit. When you get bit give him a 10 to 15 second count and swing away.[/size]
[size 1]If your after Big Fish go with a 10" Basstrix, 9" osprey or the 8" Assasin. Try bouncing the bottom with the bastrix, osprey in the tougher cover and the Assasin on the troll.[/size]
[size 1]If things are slow you can always go with jigs. The fish may not be as big but it might spice things up a bit. [/size]
[size 1]Let us know how you do, and Castaic has probably 5 out of the top 25 bass records in the usa so if you think you broke the record, take the pay day, don't throw him back![/size][/size]
