Here is a map of the dam...with parking, trail access and access to the north side of the lake along the Heber Creeper tracks.

In the "olden days" the highway went across the dam and you could park near the spillway at the dam and fish anywhere along the shoreline...even from the rocks off the dam. But, after 9-ll they changed the road to bypass the dam and put in buoys to keep out boats and shore angling within the barrier. If you don't mind a short hike, there can be some good fishing along the shoreline that is accessible.
