What shuttle system did you buy for ice fishing? If you bought Summit, they have a boat set up. That’s what I did. My Livescope stays in my shuttle. I just take it out of the shuttle bag and mount it to the Summit Docking Plate. Then that mounts to the LarMac 360. It’s nice because I can rotate the screen for others to see. That whole thing slides into the Cisco rails I mounted on my boat. No wiring to figure out because it’s using the ice fishing battery in the shuttle. I use my Livescope mostly next to the drivers seat when I’m chasing lake trout, but I put a rail on the bow for crappie fishing. This will be my first spring with it.
Livescope from a boat is very different than for ice fishing. It’s still awesome, the challenge is you’re in a moving, shifting boat so staying on a fish is a little trickier. Also my pole is not rock solid if the boat is moving much past a slow troll. I think the Arc Lab pole system might be better.
Good luck!
