I wish I could have played but was in Bishop getting ready for the trout opener. I have played in over 40 real Texas Hold-em tourneys in Vegas and they are a blast. Every year at Super bowl about 25 friends get together in Vegas and play our own private tourney which I have either won or placed about 75% of the time. The key to playing in a tourney is surviving. I hate to say it-since it goes against my make up but you must play not to lose in the begining. It is not worth the risk looking at the flop if you don't have 2 good cards to begin with. A hard lesson to learn but if you do learn you will do better. BTW-The best I did in a big tourney was 4th in Laughlin with 118 players. Positions 1-5 got paid.
