I thought you got rid of your old boat because you needed a motor for it? I was talking about teroy's old boat, the one you bought from fish1on. I think Chris posted the best way to hook up two batteries. My main motor doesn't charge my battery, so I have to charge it every time I get home(1964 motor). When charging my battery I always disconnect the wires, so there is less chance of the battery discharging between use. You could also build a power strip and run all your accessories wires to it, then all you would need is two wires going to your battery. Good luck. WH2
