[size 2]Wooo hooo... finally I got one!
The first time it was on...broke my line. So I switched to my baitcaster strung with Power Pro and a steelleader.
The second time it got on, we fought a while, and it bent my hook.
The third time's a charm.... I rigged up my baitcaster with Power Pro 20 lb. test line and a Stinger hook full of corn! YES, A STINGER HOOK!!
This carp could NOT get away. Fought me well, and I was racing the clock.... I had to get home in time for the school bus! Some guys were on the other side of the pond watching. My sneakers and pants are soaked...but I got my fish
The final length and weight .... 12 pounds and 27 inches long. [/size]
