I have fished for carp for over 35 years, I can tell how much they just by looking at them..
there is no doubt that your carp is 12 pounds, I wouldnt be suprized if it weighed 15 pounds....
them carp are living vacume cleaners, they suck every thing up off the bottom of the rivers and lakes.... A carp can weigh in excess of 1 pound per inch in lenth....
Carp is the only fresh water fish that can make that claim.... (at least that is the only one I can think of)[crazy]
