Left home at 6:30 am, and was on the water by 7:30 am. Sped over to the east side of the dam and started working the shoreline with rapalas imitating perch. The best action of the day was early morning with the rapalas cast a few feet of shore and then retreived to the boat quickly-between 3 of us we had 10 fish in an hour all good sized smallmouths. By about 9:00 am it was slower and tube jigs worked well bouncing them off the bottom in about 15 feet of water. Headed back home at noon. Final fish count was 18 smallmouth, 4 perch, and 2 HUGE chubs. Pic below is a good example of the average smallmouth we were catching.
