theangler, Colorado Springs is a great place to live, you'll be within an hour of some of the states best lakes. I live in Pueblo which is only 40 minutes south of the Springs.
Neal got it right when he pointed out Spinney, Eleven Mile and Pueblo Res those are some of my favorites for trout and warm water species, but you also have a bunch of lakes within a 3 hour drive that have lake trout, like Granby, Twin Lakes and Blue Mesa.
A get together sounds good, does anyone have any suggestions about where we should meet. Oh ya I had an Uncle that lived in Wyoming and used to fish the Pathfinder all the time, he would catch a lot of Orhids through the ice and big ones up to 9lbs and thats exactly how he decribed them, they look just like a brown with huge quarter size redish orange spots on them. I haven't seen a picture of them either but wow I would like to find one of them.
