1 lb. Walleye fillets
1 medium green peppers
1 small chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups buttered bread crumbs
Basic White Sauce:
3 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 cups milk
Drain fish well on paper towels. Grease baking dish (8" square). Lay fish in bottom. Sprinkle with chopped green pepper and onion, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour white sauce over fish. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 F, 30-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
