That was similar to my spouse and myself. Tried a couple of times to take her out with the flyrod. I was stupid and gave her an old rod and I took the new one. She ended up casting the top half of the rod into the river (we got it back), but I have never got her back out to fish with me[

However, when the kiddies get out of the house, we are planning a fishing/golf site seeing excursion across the country. We have another 16 years of planning to do.
I've been trying to talk her into trying the float-tube, I will be taking the doughnut dinghy, she'll get the FC-4 and all the best equipment, etc (at least that's what the marriage counselor suggested[shocked] jk).
