I have fished Springfield before and love it. I like the fact that they plant it with Magnum 18" planters cause of the bird refuge. Caught a 28" out of there. I usually float tube it and I know that it is warmer water cause my brother-inlaw caught a small mouth and I know that the weeds are probably down, but is there ice? Do you fish from shore or tube it?
