Fly Fishing In Idaho
#10
Thanks so much for the wlcome. I have already looked up the regs for Idaho, that is how I found out the price of an out of state year went up. What's bad about that is I grew up up there. Oh well, there is more work for me here and we do have some great rivers (Provo, Green and the Weber) along with lakes like Jordonell, Strawberry, Lake Powell, even Willard Bay for wipers.
I was spoiled at Henry's Lake this last August-September however, I caught 15 chub in one area that were 14"-16". Bumbed me out. People have got to start putting some of the big ones back. I did catch several piggs. A bunch 24" to 26" one 28" and one 30+ ".
Measured the length, width, weight and several pictures and let them go.
I am a firm believer in catch release, but I do keep one a year to eat. (I kept a 24")
