Glow Goodies

That's some cool stuff!

A few years back I 'played' with a new glow powder for a college lab project. It looked similar to what you described. Specifically, we used an EVA co-polymer impregnated with a photo-luminescent pigment powder, made up of eruropium doped aluminate oxide (apparently some slightly radioactive stuff) and extruded it with several different types and ratios of polymers. The pigment powder was purchased from Pro Glow.

For the lab class we were able to choose our own project, so you know that I would somehow incorporate fishing into it! Here are some pictures of the project results:

I also attached a modified copy of the actual report just incase anyone was interested in some dry reading. Since the report file was too large to attach as one document, it is split into 2 parts and some of the images were edited (removed).
