I haven't heard anything about the roads or snow around Daniels recently. You probably made a good choice by not going. Yesterday it rained most of the day in Pocatello and all of the roads around here are in good shape. I would guess the roads around Malad are clear but closer to Daniels as well as the parking might not be very good.
