[cool][green]No doubt it has to be the first salmon that I ever caught. Landed in Ketchikan on a cruise and my wife convinced me to go fishing on a private boat saying "when do you think that you will have the chance to go salmon fishing in Alaska again?". For sure she didn't have to beg me. After we docked the skipper said give the fish to the purser and arrange to have it served at dinner. Believe it or not had salmon before. Well it was excellant. The Italian chefs really did a number on my taste buds. It served six at our table with some left over. I have been eating broilled salmon ever since. Another fellow from our ship were the only ones on a small boat with a cabin. We were one of the few boats[several boat loads from our ship went out] that caught any fish. Since our boat was rather small we were able to get out quickly and spent 5 hours fishing in and out of numerous coves. The cabin type cruisers only stayed out for 4 hours. All it all it was an "A" day.[/green]
