I'm a bit difficult to get in touch with as I work afternoons / evenings. However, I can probably be reached mid-day sometime before 2pm. Or, if you would like, you can PM me some of the questions. Either way works for me. I'm no expert, but I know what I found works for me and my needs after a lot of looking.
On other thing to keep in mind that I thought of after reading your post. You mentioned you want outboard and at least 18'. It is going to be quite difficult to find anything over 18' with an outboard on it. Most outboards just don't have the push for that size of boat. My last one was a 17.5' with a 135hp outboard. Also, a lot of the outboards don't have the long shaft for the deep v hulls, so most you will find are on tri-hulls or shallow hulls like bass boats.
One other thought would be if you were attending the Sportsman's Expo this week. I will probably spend a fair amount of time there on Thurs and Fri, and the morning of Sat with my girlfriend and her 2 kids. I would be happy to discuss it there.
