Recieved word today at 5:00
one of my people fished pineview today.
He got on the ice fine and had a good day of fishing. 10" thick ice.getting off the ice was another story. The board he walked on had been broke through,he moved it to what he thought was a safe place,got half way acrossed and found himself up to the jewels in cold water.
Hopefully the cold weather coming next week will thicken the edges. Stories of Crappie up to 14" being caught by Browning Point.
I have not heard of other edges as soft as that yet.
